Sangam Khanna, director of marketing at Insight Print Communications, said, “Our new launch is an ideal printing press for all commercial and book printers. The savings on plates, power, ink, alcohol, consumption of blankets and ink duct foils as compared to a 40inch press gives a clear savings of around Rs 2.5lakh per month. Any printer can produce around two-lakh impressions per day with Komori’s fast make ready system. Thus it is a cost saver and high productivity printing press.”

The newly launched Komori Lithrone A37P is equipped with a sheet reversal mechanism that enables the user to perform double-sided or single-sided printing with just one press. The compact press offers a maximum sheet size of 640 x 940 and can print thin and thick stocks of paper from 0.04mm to 0.6mm at speed of 13,000 impressions per hour.

The machine also permits both one-pass four-color printing as well as front/back two-colour printing of 8-up impositions of A4 size sheets that include a colour bar for CMS in the margin. Thus the machine doubles up as a four-color perfector and a two-colour press.

“Since their introduction, these presses have won solid reputation as highly functional machines suited to their target markets and have registered excellent sales results, mainly in Asian countries such as Japan, China and India,” concluded Khanna.
