Komori clinches India’s first Impremia IS29 deal

Six-days into the show, Japanese press manufacturing giant Komori has opened its India account of Impremia IS29, with Ludhiana’s digital specialist, Dulari Digital confirming the deal., Business

Komori signed nine other deals in the offset segment, with six customers confirming Enthrone buy, an each of G29 and A37, and a G40.
 
Dulari Digital specialises in wedding, photo, and commercial print in the India’s State of Punjab.
 
Proud of being the first Indian print company to order IS29, Aman Goel, director at Dulari, said, “After seeing the prints, I am confident that that the IS29 will deliver the kind of colour consistency with a wide range of colour gamuts, that we need.”
 
The “litho quality” IS 29 is a UV-based digital press and is capable of running at a speed of 3,000sph simplex and 1,500 duplex. It can print at a resolution of 1,200x1,200dpi on a maximum sheet size of 585x750mm.
 
“We believe Komori’s long experience in colour management, and in commercial packaging and currency printing will help us deliver the desired prints for applications we seek perfections in,” said Goel.
 
The India sales was coordinated by Komori’s India partner, Insight Communication & Print Solutions India. Sangam Khanna, director at Insight, said, “Offset is here to stay, but the IS29 and NS40 is the new way to go in the mid-term. We expect to deliver the IS29 sometime in ealy 2018.
 
This Drupa is the seventh show since Insight’s began its partnership with Komori.
