Komori concludes China Print on a high note
Komori has concluded the China Print 2013 on a high note with a record sale of more than 120 offset printing machines worldwide. The company also announced that six machines will be commissioned to India and the number of orders is likely to go up by the end of Q2.

“We registered orders for 50 machines at the end of day one and this figure crossed 120 mark at the end of the show,” said Sangam Khanna, director-sales, Insight Print Communications, which represents Komori in India.
He further said, "We observe that the serious customers plan their meetings and demos well in advance and inform us their expectations on configurations, price and other queries. In addtion, many of them even carried cheque books to close and firm the deal."
Komori demonstrated a slew of presses at the show under the banner ‘Komori OnDemand’. These included a four-colour and a six-colour Lithrone G40, a Lithrone A37 and Impremia C80 color digital printing system. On day one of the show, live demonstrations of both presses attracted a huge crowd of visitors. The Komori OnDemand concept is the fusion of OffsetOnDemand, the system that handles short runs and tight job turnaround schedules by cutting print preparation time, paper losses etc.
“The customers are constantly looking to improve their technology and management skills. The buyer is now well-focussed on their needs and the statistics suggest the growing packaging requirement worldwide,” concluded Khanna.
