Komori Enthrone S429 goes to Adinath Print Service

The Insight stand, on the second afternoon of the show, was filled with activity. The family of Sanjay Doshi, owner of Adinath Print Services, had come to have a first look at the Komori Enthrone S429, that will adorn the firm’s press room in Mulund, Mumbai. The Enthrone S429 was the only international four-colour press running a live demo at Pamex.

Doshi, speaking to PrintWeek India, said, “It was my dream to own a brand new four-colour press, after having used a secondhand machinery for years.”

Doshi added, “It’s not that we could not afford a Lithrone press, and did consider it. The features on the E429 like auto makeready, its compact size and economical power consumption, made it a suitable fit for us. Also, we did not want to buy a truck, not knowing how to use it.”

Doshi, who used to outsourced platemaking, has also invested in a Maclantis CTCP supplied by Insight. The CTCP, which is already installed, will complement the new Komori as well as two four-colour and one two-colour Heidelberg presses.

Located in five galas of 3,000 sq/ft each, in an industrial estate in Mulund, Adinath converts 20 tonnes of paper and paperboard per month, of which 10% is packaging and the rest is commercial printing. Adinath has a fully equipped bindery for post-press work.

The Insight stand also had a Kodak platesetter on display.

By the end of the show this evening, Insight claimed to have clinched orders for six Komori presses and three Kodak platesetters.
