These 40 machines include 12 Komori Enthrone 29 (in commercial printing); 18 Komori Lithrone G37 (in commercial and packaging); eight Komori Lithrone G40/ GX 40 (four seven-colour and four-six colour coater UV presses) and two Komori Lithrone G29 six-colour with online coater.
The buyers include Hyderabad-based Pragati; Salem-based Selam Printpack; Hyderabad - based Arunodaya and Chennai-based Kora Packaging (Label Kingdom), among others.
Jitender Rohilla, GM national sales head of Komori India, said, “Thanks to the industry and especially our customers who showed their confidence in our products. Among these 40 deals, 13 orders were closed during PrintPack 2022 and the rest after the exhibition.”
He added, “Komori's new Advance series has unparalleled productivity and, of course, comes with unbeatable service support.”
Rohilla said, according to the company’s research, Komori is a first choice among customers because of its low cost of ownership, readily available spares, and service. “One of the key indicators of purchase we noticed is the number of used machines imported. Komori has over 60% used machines as most printers understand the low maintenance cost. Even used machine dealers indicate that Komori has a high resale cost, indicating Komori's demand in the new and used machinery market,” he added.
