As part of the theme, the manufacturer of printing presses will exhibit four sheetfed offset presses and one digital printing system at its 1,006 sq/m booth (3C1007). With this, Komori promises to reiterate its commitment to becoming the business partner of customers, capable of improving margins and increasing productivity.

According to the company sources, the printing industry has entered a period of fundamental change, and Komori, as an industry leader, must not only improve press print quality and productivity but also must offer solutions to the issues that customers are facing.

At the exhibition, Komori will present a range of solutions that are directly linked to improving user profitability, including the fusion of new ‘offset on demand’, realising extremely short run/short turnaround performance by shortening setup time, cutting paper waste and shortening printing processes while maintaining the high quality and productivity of offset printing.

Its ‘digital on demand’ promises to offer new solutions for cooperation between offset-oriented digital printing and post-press, as well as total plans for printing materials and equipment, which will maximise the potential of the press.

In India, meanwhile, the Japanese machine manufacture remains a preferred brand. This is evident in the fact that as many as 20 Komori machines were booked at the recently concluded PrintPack India 2015. Last year, Komori’s India representative Insight Communications installed 20 offset presses from 1 April to 31 October. This includes four presses in Gujarat and two presses in East India. Nine presses were purchased by customers in South India and five were shipped to North India.

At Print China 2015, the manufacturer of sheetfed/ web offset printing and security printing presses will make specific proposals of optimum solutions for needs in general commercial, extremely short-run, gang run, package and label printing using the four offset presses and one digital printing system. The company will also offer useful suggestions for improving productivity through upgrades of installed equipment.
