Kongsberg concludes deal with Sivasidh at IndiaCorr
During the IndiaCorr expo in Mumbai, Kongsberg concluded a deal with Sivasidh Packs. The manufacturer based in the Czech Republic also showcased its C series cutting table for digital finishing.

During the three-day show in Mumbai, Kongsberg inked the deal with Sivasidh Packs, Tirupur, for the X24 (with a powerhead).
Sivasidh Packs has been manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes since 1992 in Tirupur. It has a plant spread across 1 lakh-sq ft which is supplemented by a paper mill which converts 4,000 tonnes per month.
Other than that, Kongsberg showcased its C-Series cutting table in the event which is built for fast printers that offers speed; 100 m/min - 66 in/sec and acceleration up to 1.7 G with precise tool movements. The cutting table utilises aerospace technology, combining an aluminium composite tabletop, a rack and pinion drive system and dynamic table mapping.
Rafiq Shaikh, sales and service leader, Kongsberg said, “The exhibition allowed us to highlight the wide range of applications that the Kongsberg machine provides to achieve the right finish for the corrugated segment.”

The Kongsberg C offers a solution consisting of hardware, software, bits and blades and services. It is a digital finisher for signage, display and packaging applications such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, wood and plastics.
There are multiple tool combinations available during production, depending on the materials you want to process. The tooling system includes a material thickness probe and an optional camera for registering printed and unprinted material.
