The multicut-HP (High Power) is equipped with a super-strong, water-cooled milling spindle, which can deliver up to three times faster milling speeds. The 3kW high-power spindle is a great choice for shops that need extended milling duty-cycles and/or who work extensively with heavy-duty materials such as thick sheets of acrylic, wood/MDF and aluminium composite material.

The company also had its i-cut Suite, the industry standard design-to-print-to-cut workflow.

Pradeep Ram, marketing manager, Esko, said, “The company will touch 100 installations by this year in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. We have 15-odd installations, which are specifically for signage display. The sign and display marketing is growing very fast in India and they are up to date on the latest technology.”

Ram said the company received some good leads to follow up at Media Expo. “We are confident that some of them will be closed in the coming months,” he said.

He added that wide-format printing is becoming more economical by the day, because of new inventions and technology. “Affordability is becoming a new trend in the industry and this has helped identify lot of new segments where wide-format printing was never heard of,” he said. He added that the company is looking at 10 to 15% growth in its market share in India.

This is the fourth time Esko is present in Media Expo and Ram lauded the show, calling it the only well-established sign and display event in India. “This year, we met some good quality crowd, and it was well managed, for which the credit goes to the new organisers. Still, there are some gaps in certain areas, where we hope to see some improvements in the future,” he added.
