Konica Minolta launches AccurioPress C14000/C12000 series
Konica Minolta Business Solutions has rolled out AccurioPress C14000/C12000 series to strengthen its existing production print portfolio. As part of the launch of its latest series of high-volume production presses, the company has introduced two machines —140-ppm AccurioPress C14000 and 120-ppm AccurioPress C12000.

The entry-level AccurioPress C14000/12000 press, which starts at a price of Rs 75-lakh, features a new Simitri HD ink, a printhead that delivers a resolution that is equivalent to 3,600x2,400-dpi, inline trimming, slitting and creasing for full-bleed output. The machines automate many of the arduous processes like calibration and setup time, enabling the printer to be more agile. They can handle substrates ranging from 52 to 450-gsm, or 300-gsm for textured stock, and it can also handle envelopes. The duty cycle is 2.5-m sheets/month.
The new machines are designed to help customers ramp up the productivity levels of their businesses through speed and efficiency. Sporting resolution equivalent to 3600x2400-dpi and an enhanced media capability of up to 450-gsm, not only do these products ensure speed to operations, but also offers outstanding image quality and unparalleled media flexibility.
Paired with Konica Minolta’s enhanced IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser, the new presses automatically and continuously measure and correct colour, so the first print in a run matches the last. The company has also improved its two-dimensional registration correction feature through the higher output resolution.
