Konica Minolta participates in HID road show in Ahmedabad

HID Global is a US-based manufacturer of secure identity solutions. Konica Minolta is a member in the company’s Advantage HID Connect Partner Program, with which Konica Minolta offers customers the added convenience of using physical access cards for secure print authentication from their bizhub multifunctional products.

Konica Minolta customers using secure print authentication with Genuine HID Technology benefit from the ability to have employees use the physical access cards they already carry, minimising an organisation’s capital investment and controlling the costs associated with print, copy and scan features.

The event was attended by customers such as digital printing press owners, lab owners, and others.

Konica Minolta saw this participation as an opportunity to position itself as the top provider for secure document solutions, address the need for paper security solutions, and increase awareness of security system integrators, who is typically focused on premise security solutions or logical access control limited to only the PC/network.

The event also saw the release of a security whitepaper as well as security brochure to highlight the security features in Konica Minolta multi-functional peripherals. This was well received by the participants and the HID team.
