KOPA organises Drupa event in Bengaluru
The Karnataka Offset Printers Association (KOPA) will organise an event for its members to look at the new opportunities and new technologies that have emerged from Drupa. The event will be hosted on 30 July 2016 at Bengaluru.

Suresh Pai, president, KOPA, said, “We noticed that there is a lot anxiety among our member who attended Drupa as well as those who could not attend. For their benefit, we decided to host an event to discuss the impact and change Drupa has brought into the printing world and explore market trends.”
The event will see Narendra Paruchuri, managing director of Pragati Offset and print guru Dr Rajendrakumar Anayath share their insights on Drupa 2016 and answer various questions posed by attendees at the event.
The re-positioning of Drupa and its focus on future themes with strong growth potential – such as 3D printing, functional printing or packaging printing – proves to be a real asset. Pai said, “Be it publication, commercial, packaging or industrial printing – printing technology offers matching solutions for all of these applications while opening up new lines of business and business models at the same time.”
“Questions such as what is digital technology and how this will affect or not the conventional business, among others will be addressed. Our aim with this event is to remove any kind apprehension and enlighten them about Drupa and change in technologies,” concluded Pai.
A sizeable delegation from KOPA had attended the 11-day show which saw 1,837 exhibitors from 54 countries.
