KOPA organises a gala event to celebrate Senefelder

The function which held at KOPA’ s premises, The Offset Printers Technology Centre, was attended by Master Hirannaiah, a renowned theatre personality. Hirannaiah was also the chief guest for the day’s festivities.

Balachandra, president, Karnataka Offset Printers Association welcomed the chief guest in his brief address to the gathered members.  Nagasundar in his introductory speech spoke with high fervor about Master Hirannaiah. KOPA took this opportunity to honour some of its members for their untiring efforts in the printing industry in Karnataka. Ganesh Rao, Wooden Die Makers, TS Nagaraj, Gowri Laminators, D Mithalal Bhansali, Mercury Papers, G Shanmugam, Sri Subramanya Process, R  Iaavu, Shivagami Binding Works, R Narendra, Ramya Reprographic, Vikar Hussain Hussain, Allied Electrical Services, C Prakash Babu, Ramesh Printing Press and Sanjeev Sachdev, Kropex India were the felicitated at the gathering.  Nagasundar was also honoured for his election to the All India Federation of Master Printers as its Vice President (South) for a second consecutive term.

KOPA awarded cash prizes of Rs 10,000 each to rank holders along with certificates. Anand GN, Asha N, B Siddesh, all from Government Institute of Printing Technology, Bangalore, were proud recipients of this cash prizes and certificate.

Kopa News’ September-October 2013 was unveiled by Master Hirannaiah during the course of the function.

Karnataka Offset Printers Association (KOPA) has been active in creating awareness and recognising achievement of Karnataka print industry. KOPA took the initiative of organising a roundtable in association with PrintWeek India to provide a knowledge sharing platform for its members.
