Nitin Khandelwal, director, Chambal Graphics, said, “We are in digital printing for the last four years. Our existing set up includes production engines from Konica Minolta. We were looking to boost our business and needed a high-end production engine. We zeroed-down on Xerox Versant 180 because of its high-density print quality. Right now, it is four-colour CMYK print engine, but soon additional attachment will be added so that we will be able to print on MetPET too.”
He added that with the Xerox, the company has achieved more than 100% growth in terms of production. Earlier, the company was printing slightly more than 10,000 sheets and now it prints around 25,000 sheets per month.
The Xerox Versant 180 was supplied by Monotech Systems. “We have a decade-long relationship with Monotech and we are happy with all the deals. Our Konica Minolta engines, paper-cutting machine and Basysprint CTP were also supplied by Monotech Systems,” Khandelwal said.
Chambal Graphics, which started as a graphic design firm, prints educational materials and board packaging, advertisement material (brochure, fliers, catalogue, mini brochure, etc), and invitation cards.
“We provide the complete solution, from designing to delivery, for our customers,” Khandelwal said. The customers include coaching institutions, multiple manufacturing industries, food industries, construction companies, small printing presses, garment industry, pharma and others.
As Kota is an education hub, Khandelwal is hopeful that study material requirement will increase and it will generate work for the company.
