Kris Flexipacks flexes flexible power

Nikita Sheth, marketing manager, Kris flexipacks said, “We offer a wide range of flexible packaging products and PVC shrink sleeves. Our company is planning to expand our design facility studio for innovative designs.”

The company’s key clients are Pepsi, Marico, CocaCola and Godrej.” At the show, Kris is also promoting Automated Packaging Systems of the US, a company with which it has a tie-up. The products on display are Autobag and AirPouch. According to Sheth, there are few issues which the industry needs to tackle.

“One is raw material, two is education. We are keen to promote education and would not mind running an internship programme at our units, which can benefit students from the packaging institutes. The company with Rs 300-cr turnover, Kris is equipped with rotogravure, flexographic and digital presses for multi-colour printing, as well as has a fully equipped pre-press and post-press department.

It uses Oracle ERP solution for production planning. The company was established in 1989 as a manufacturing unit in retail and garment business in Mulund, Mumbai, before moving into producing packaging products.
