Any Graphics has made winning the Label Award a habit since bagging the Prism in 2012.
The New Delhi-based labels and mono cartons specialist’s submission of labels this year impressed the judges. “These are simply stunning prints. The crafting is beautiful,” exclaimed the judges.
The special features of the Treish labels for Treish, for example, had a customised lens effect, and high raise UV effect. “The customer wished to have a unique label for its water dispensing pack. The artwork entailed a water drop, which was crafted with the help of fragmented thick UV,” said the company.
The company’s other entries, Mira Anti Wrinkle Cream for Mira, Versace 1969 Labels for Versace, and Zebra for Com-Ad Designs, had high raise thick UV coating done through screen then kiss cut, combined with the use of special gold on self-adhesive metallised polyester film and other on self-adhesive white PE to enhance the shapes of the products.
Esko workflow, Esko’s CDI and Kodak platesetters were used to fire plates for narrow-web label presses using combination printing, and Heidelberg seven-colour UV press with inline coater. The print run ranged from 10,000 to one lakh pieces.
For Any Graphics it’s been a busy year of investment. In the last four years, the company has invested more than Rs 70 crore in machinery and infrastructure, Rs 30 crore of which has been invested in this year alone.
