Labelexpo 2018: Nilpeter to demonstrate FB series label press

Nilpeter will run live demonstrations of the FB 430 with emphasis on Nilpeter's value adding units like the flatbed embossing and hot foil unit FP4, gravure, cold foil and special stacking conveyor.

The new features on the FB 430 are APP (auto plate positioning), pre-register, insetting (repass), rail mounted accessories and dual web path. The press can convert unsupported film, PS label stock, IML stock, wet glue label material as well as the light carton.

“The automation features provided on the press are in response to the demands of the modern press operator and helps in turning around jobs much faster with lesser wastages at higher production speeds- primary requirements of a press today," said Kapoor.

The press is based on shaft-less servo technology and comes in two press widths of 350 mm and 430 mm. It has a maximum repeat of 24-inch and a press speed of 225 metres per minute.

Kapoor added, “The FB is a hugely popular press in the Indian market with over 70 installations of the classic version. The new FB avatar, that will be exhibited, was launched about a year ago and there have already been seven presses delivered in the Indian market.”
