Labelexpo 2018: Vinsak announces Polylam’s Lombardi deal
Vinsak has announced that Polylam Printers has signed a deal which will see the Lombardi Synchroline 430 on its stand installed at Polylam’s plant in New Delhi.

Polylam Printers has opted for an eight-colour Lombardi Synchroline 430 flexo label printing press with a Toro flatbed hot foil system and a hologram unit.
“The Toro units provide hologram in setting, hot foil and embossing technologies inline with a single operation. This will allow us to print security related applications,” said Vishal Pasricha, director at Polylam.
At present, Polylam is equipped with three flexo presses – two Multitec and one Mark Andy, plus one letterpress from China.
The company also has two other businesses where it manufactures label and metalised stock. The company converts around 3-lakh sq/m labels per month, and produces about 100 tonnes of metalised papers.
“With the new Lombardi installation, we will double our capacity,” said Pasricha.
He added, “And we are not just looking for labels, but also publication field, including printing cover of magazines and books, with security features aided by the Toro unit. We will also explore in-mould labels, lamitubes and the likes which require security features.”
Vinsak is the exclusive distributor of Lombardi presses in the Indian sub-continent.
