Luc Augustinus, vice president, global channel management, Peleman, said “2019 is special to us as we celebrate our company’s 40th anniversary. Building on four decades of legacy in the field of printed presentation and photo solutions, Peleman now brings its innovative technologies to the label printing and packaging industry.”
The flatbed foil printer enables printing companies to offer a variety of on-demand services and to create one-off proposals, prototype labels as well as folding carton samples, without the need for large production runs.
“Bridging a gap in the market, our easy-to-use flatbed foil printer minimises the time and cost invested in creating one-off labels and folding cartons for proposals and proofing, thereby offering a convenient and profitable alternative to printing companies,” added Augustinus.
With a total of six foil colour options, the machine is capable of printing on flat, smooth, semi-smooth and coated surfaces. It can print up to a width of 410 mm x 280 mm for all applications, text, and drawings.
The printer can be easily operated from any laptop via the printer’s dedicated software. “Our digital foil printer allows retailers and brand stores to generate extra revenue by adding value to their offerings through custom foil prints on their products or packaging materials. It is perfect for instant personalisation and limited edition promotions,” said Augustinus.
The printer has been developed to allow users to create designs, starting from a single piece, thereby maximising time and cost efficiencies.
“We have established an extensive global partner network for all customer service and support needs,” added Augustinus.
The range of application that the machine can print on includes labels, folding cartons, presentation covers, invitations, business cards, notebooks and phone covers, amongst others.
