Labelexpo 2022: Apex displays GTT and anilox technologies

One of the global leaders in anilox technology, Apex International has products for labels as well as different sectors such as wide web, corrugation, coatings and offset. Product offering includes Anilox, sleeves, glue set, metering products and print maintenance solution. 

Mangesh Bhise, sales director, Asia-Pacific and ME, Apex International, said, “We have a specialised screen for coating and printing applications named Genetic Transfer Technology (GTT).” He said that the label industry is getting matured and better for which GTT is a need. 

GTT is a product developed for effective ink-to-plate transfer. It has an open slalom ink channel geometry which replaces closed-cell geometry to trap ink. 

Bhise said, “Apex along with other global partners have opened Experience centre for flexo users in its facility at Nashik, where all types of testing and trials are conducted for one robust flexo user experience.” The Hapert-based company has five plants and a tech-centre for advanced help and support with the products. “The industry is growing, buyers are becoming more intelligent, packaging is becoming more complex and there is a need for unique products that stand out,” he added.
