Labelexpo 2023: Multitec sells an S2 press on day one

The S2 is a shaftless dual servo narrow-web flexo press for printing flexible packaging and self-adhesive labels. In the machine, the print cylinder and the chilled impression roll are both driven by independent servo motors. This ensures the highest graphic quality and an extremely versatile repeat range. The S2’s automation package can help converters diversify into new growth markets, such as sleeves, wraparound labels, pouches and sachets.

Amit Ahuja from Multitec Aids said it was a busy day at the Multitec stand with constant live demos of the S2 machine. 

“The new S2 with its versatility in flexible packaging and excellent stability has garnered overwhelming response in the European market. With the stand at the entrance of Hall 5, it was thronging with visitors observing the press. The machine was running throughout the day to exhibit its prowess while printing on 12-micron PET,” Ahuja said.

This is the sixth time that Multitec has participated with live equipment at Labelexpo Europe.
