Prati has focussed exclusively in the finishing side of labels.” Shah has for Prati kit installed at his plant in Ahmedabad.
Sunil Talpade, managing director of Royal Coat, has represented Prati for the last 12 years. He said, “We have nearly 100 Prati kits installed in India. Prati ensures that each of its machines fits the type of applications the label manufacturer produces. And once the machine is installed, it just continues doing its work. We hardly receive any maintenance calls. That’s how the machines are built – to work with ease.”

Among other machines, Prati showcased its DigiFastone digital finishing line, which utilises the company’s Futura field-upgradable open platform technology. “This fully digital system includes inkjet printing, laser die-cutting, and turret rewinding, making it ideal for creating short-run promotional labels in various industries such as food and beverage, wine and spirits, cosmetics, personal care, and home care,” said Talpade.
With DigiFastone, users can produce high-quality tactile effects, decorations, and textures up to 130m in length. Additionally, it offers Braille and Marburg Medium printing for pharmaceutical products. This system generates low wastage, reduces setup times, and provides a register accuracy of 0.15mm.
