Khushal Patel, director of sales and marketing at BST Eltromat India, said, “We have a rewinder, which is just a demo unit to display all our systems. On the rewinder, we have our web guides, which BST is known for. It is the starting point of quality assurance in printing. Web guides followed by a print inspection system for the printing machines.”
The Tubescan TSDS is an inspection system that performs reel changes, variable data inspection, barcode checking, colour monitoring, PDF comparison, and advanced report management.
Patel said, “It gives the operator a visual reference on how the print is going. Then we have a 100% defect detection system, the TubeScan. It is synonymous with print quality inspection. We have been promoting and showing the TubeScan system for less than a decade. We have more than 3,300 installations globally. In this edition of Labelexpo, we have the TubeScan in 8K resolution.”
BST Eltromat India has been serving Indian customers since 1993. The company has a manufacturing unit in Gujarat.
When asked if any deals have taken place at Labelexpo, Patel said, “All the deals have been verbal so far. But the formalities should start and end in the coming week. We are looking at a sale of around four to five systems.”
