It ensures minimal face stock penetration and no discolouration, while being compatible with standard applicators, including nozzle and slot. Ideal for medium to high-speed coating lines, it bonds well to cardboard and films. It also works for lower application temperatures, as low as 0 degrees C, and is made in India.
Henkel’s portfolio, including hotmelt rubber, UV curing, and water- and solvent-based acrylics, is ideal for labelling applications spanning from shampoo bottles, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce packaging, tyres, automotive decals, consumer durables, all combining functionality and efficiency.
Food safety is a priority for Henkel as it tries to push the concept forward for the Indian market along with pharmaceuticals.
“We’re looking to interact with customers who are looking for general purpose or any specialty labels. We’re investing in the market because it is growing and we do want to cater to it,” said Suprit Chawla, marketing team, Henkel.
At the event, Henkel showcased its range of pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs), featuring sustainable, water-based solutions from the Aquence PSA range, designed for diverse applications. The Loctite DURO-TAK UV range, part of Henkel’s portfolio, was also highlighted for its ability to make labels more sustainable.
