NBG’s Starflex narrow web flexo press has been designed to meet the demands of modern label printing. It combines efficiency, versatility, and precision in one platform.

When asked about his expectations from the show, Kishore Kumar PS, general manager for marketing at NBG, said, “We are looking to leverage the dedicated label audience at the show. Our Starflex range offers MLS, ELS, and combination solutions for the industry. We are hoping for some good deals and networking.”

The Starflex narrow-web flexo press is equipped with an inline gravure station, allowing for high-quality printing with depth and detail. This feature enables printers to incorporate intricate designs, special inks, or coatings directly inline, making it ideal for premium labels.

Its LED UV curing system offers faster drying times while reducing energy consumption. LED UV provides consistent curing quality at lower temperatures.

The inclusion of electronic line shaft (ELS) technology in the Starflex ensures precise registration and minimises waste. ELS replaces traditional mechanical gears with electronic control, leading to quieter, smoother operation and a noticeable improvement in print accuracy, even at high speeds.

Currently, NBG Printographic Machinery is based in nine cities and five countries. In the next year, the company hopes to double its geographical presence, especially in the flexo segment. It is looking to increase the number of installations.

Kumar said, “As of now, we have seen more than 10 installations for narrow-web equipment and more than fifty for wide-web.”
