E Prabhakaran, director at RK Label Printing Machinery, shared that Labelexpo 2024 met the company's expectations by providing an excellent platform to showcase advancements to a diverse audience. According to Prabhakaran, the event’s location in Delhi attracted both new and existing customers.

The company has transitioned from basic models to servo machines, enabling customers to adopt next-generation technologies.

During the four days of Labelexpo, the company achieved remarkable sales across its product range, including three servo flexo machines, two economical tower models, three punching machines, three slitting machines, two thermal slitters (a new model), and two POS roll machines.

The company also introduced India’s first RFID conversion machine, addressing increasing demand.

Prabhakaran said, “We want to be a one-stop solution for businesses, particularly in the label industry, offering everything from Rs 30-lakh core-cutting machines to Rs 1.5-crore servo machines, establishing itself as a trusted partner for all client needs."

At the show, RK Label Printing Machinery Printers showcased the FMS Sleeve Series machine, which has seen significant success. Over the past two financial years, the company has sold over 18 machines per annum, especially for producing ice cream cone sleeves. One vendor can alone operate six of these machines, which are designed for 24/7 operations to ensure high efficiency.

The FMS Sleeve Series includes an eight-colour flexo printing machine paired with a rotogravure unit. To tackle ink peel-off issues common with water-based inks in ice cream packaging, the company introduced a registered gravure option for precise alignment with flexo stations, ensuring superior print quality. Out of the 22 machines sold in the last two years, three were equipped with gravure units, highlighting a growing demand for this feature.
