Labelexpo 2024: Siegwerk’s new ink and coating solutions go live

Sicura Flex Dual Cure series are non-low-migration inks that comply with the EuPIA Exclusion Policy for Printing Inks. According to Singh, the inks are compatible with various machinery and technologies and are acceptable for food packaging if processing conditions prevent set-off. "The final design ensures barrier properties against migration.”

Siegwerk is also showcasing a portfolio of low-migration inks, including water-based, solvent-based, UV, and EB solutions suitable for offset, gravure, and flexo printing. “These inks meet standards for sensory properties and can print on various substrates, including PE-coated board,” Singh informed.

FastMatch Cloud is a cloud-based application for on-demand colour matching and ink recipe generation. This tool helps create customised colour recipes from basic inks and allows ink mixing.

“These ink technologies cater to the increasing demands for quality, safety, and environmental responsibility in label and packaging applications,” said Singh.

Siegwerk is running live demonstrations and has a team of experts at the show to discuss the specific needs of the visitors.
