The Orient X-Press Flex boasts to be one of the most advanced flexographic presses ever produced domestically, while the Orient Jet UV inkjet press stands out as the most sophisticated printing machine of any kind made in India.
A key feature of the Orient Jet is its proprietary ink delivery system, developed over the past three years. Showcased internationally in Germany and now being introduced in India, this system is India's first of its kind, enabling compatibility with Kyocera and Epson heads.
Rishab Kohli of TPH Orient Group said, “It is designed to minimise operational expenses (OPEX), making it one of the most cost-effective ink delivery systems available. This results in significantly lower running costs, positioning the Orient Jet as one of the most affordable machines globally in terms of operational efficiency."
The flexo press offers customisation, with widths ranging from 330-mm to 1,500-mm, covering narrow-, mid-, and wide-web formats. A key advantage of this press is the inclusion of sleeve technology across all web widths, a unique feature in the market enabling rapid job changes for enhanced operational flexibility.
Another standout feature, and a major USP of the machine, is its proprietary gear design and gearbox integration. This innovative design achieves a PCD runout of just 2 microns, ensuring faster speeds, precise registration, reduced noise, and higher print quality.
He said, "Our digital press benefits from the same advanced system used in the flexo press, leveraging the gear design and handling features that enhance performance. This shared technology translates to our web handling capabilities in digital printing, providing smooth, precise control throughout the process."
The digital press is fully customisable and available in a wide range of sizes, up to nearly 2,000 mm. Whether you need 625 mm, 722 mm, or any specific dimension, we can tailor it to your requirements.
Kohli added, "The trend in the print industry is shifting towards shorter runs and greater flexibility, driven by changes in demand."
He highlighted the shift to digital for flexo and gravure moving towards flexo.
