Jain said there was a higher presence of companies from outside India, while the number of Indian companies was relatively low. He also highlighted that the manufacturing of label machines within India is inadequate, with many machines being sourced from China, Korea, the USA, and Japan.
While exploring label printing machines, Surender expressed his expectations for a two- or three-colour press with UV capabilities. He said he was in touch with Neha Machines, a company based in Chennai, to meet his requirements.
He also pointed out a significant trend in the printing industry: the shift towards digitisation.
