Patrick Citroen, managing director, Amica Systems, said, “The C324PA is equipped with an Arc concept creating the required web tension as well as the possibility to include pinning LED lamps creating an excellent and crisp print quality.”
The C324PA is provided with 12 slots to integrate print heads and pinning lamps in the customer-defined configuration.
“This concept offers our customers the opportunity to start with only CMYK and the possibility to expand the CMYK with orange and green or violet and also increase the number of pinning LED lamps for the full printing width of 324 mm,” added Citroen.
Thus the user can start with a print width of 216 mm wide in CMYK and extend this to six colours or even extend from 216 mm wide to 324 mm print width as and when needed.
The machine deploys Kyocera printheads with a resolution of 600x600 dpi and speeds up to75 metres per minute. It is driven by ColorPrint RIP software developed by Amica.
“The machine also offers white UV printing as well as spot varnishing printing. It provides an excellent opportunity to convert existing flexo presses into hybrid versions,” concluded Citroen.
