Labelexpo, is the premier event for the label, product decoration, web printing and converting industry in South Asia.

Labelexpo India has 200 exhibitors who have confirmed their participation in the event

The latest technologies in the industry will be on display and several machines and materials will be demonstrated live at the Expo. Some of the technologies which will be showcased include new coatings and varnishes, innovative product decoration ideas and cutting edge printing technologies.

Key print press manufacturers will also be present at Labelexpo India 2012.

Apsom Infotex, BST Sayona (PowerScope 4000, a digitalvideo web inspection system), FIG (Xeikon) Kodak, Mimaki Kanphor and Reifenhauser (AVT defect detection system) are some of the major digital press manufacturers who will mark their presence at the Expo.

According to industry experts, Drupa 2012 clearly signalled a shift in the printing industry as the digitisation of print is slowly but surely taking over from off-set printing. The Indian label industry is also experiencing a gradual shift from offset and flexo towards digital printing.

At last year’s Labelexpo Asia, which was held in China, the number of digital presses outnumbered the traditional letterpress machines for the first time. So will this trend be repeated in Delhi?

Labelexpo India will be held between 29 October and 1 November 2012.
