Labelexpo India 2024 preview: Bobst India - DYM Machinery (FIG)

Bobst India | Stand: G32

Bobst will exhibit its narrow-mid web flexo solutions for labels and flexible packaging at Labelexpo 2024. Bobst experts will be available at the event to discuss how the company's comprehensive flexo technology portfolio can handle a wide variety of applications

Attendees will have the opportunity to find out how Bobst is bringing its vision, to shape the future of the packaging world, to reality highlighting its long-term commitment to connectivity, digitalisation, automation and sustainability. 

The stand will feature Bobst flexo solutions, machines with the highest levels of automation, and advanced UV LED curing technology, delivering superior print quality while reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.

BST Eltromat | Stand: J12
BST Eltromat India’s star product at Labelexpo 2024 will be its Tubescan Digital Strobe (TSDS). The company will demonstrate the product live to enable visitors to experience its capabilities. 

The Tubescan TSDS is an inspection system that performs reel changes, variable data inspection, barcode checking, colour monitoring, PDF comparison, and advanced report management. 

The TSDS provides real-time accurate inspections that minimised waste and rework leading to an increase in productivity and ensuring a sharper output. BST Eltromat has installed the Tubescan in numerous facilities with over 3,300 installations worldwide and 50 in India. 

Cloudswood Technologies | Stand: E35
Cloudswood plans to display its holograms, security labels, product labels, barcode labels, barcode ribbons, thermal transfer overprinting ribbons, batch coding foils and barcode printers at Labelexpo 2024. The company attended its first Labelexpo in 2022 and has been loyal to the fair ever since. 

Control Print | Stand: L0
Control Print’s star product at Labelexpo 2024 will be its digital inkjet printer, which was launched in 2015. It prints high-resolution texts, images and variable data, offers personalised printing, and supports various substrates. Its print resolution varies from 300 to 1,200-dpi, and it is capable of printing up to 300 metres per minute. It supports UV-curable and eco-friendly inks and is based on drop-on-demand printhead technology. 

The digital inkjet printer also uses high-speed fibre optic communication. Control Print is participating in Labelexpo India for the first time. The company has over 350 installations worldwide.

Domino | Stand: A22
Domino Printing Sciences is set to unveil its latest innovation, a compact monochrome inkjet printer — K300 — at Labelexpo 2024. This printer, first introduced at Labelexpo Americas, is designed to enhance analogue printing lines with variable data capabilities. The K300 offers flexible solutions for packaging and label converters, enabling the incorporation of complex 2D codes and variable data, including QR codes, batch codes, and best-before dates.

Operating at speeds of up to 250 metres per minute and featuring a high-resolution 600-dpi printhead, the K300 ensures reliable performance without slowing down production lines. Its user-friendly interface and advanced ink delivery technology further enhance operational efficiency while reducing maintenance downtime.

In addition, Domino will demonstrate the N610i digital label press and the K600i monochrome printer. It will also introduce the cost-effective hybrid printing system, the N610i-H, alongside advanced machine vision solutions. These innovations underscore Domino's commitment to providing versatile and reliable printing solutions to meet evolving market demands.

 

DuPont | Stand: C44

At Labelexpo 2024, DuPont will focus on its recent launches including the DuPont Cyrel Fast 1000 TD, the DuPont Cyrel Lightning LSE, the DuPont Cyrel Easy FAST EFM, and Cyrel University at Stand C44.

The DuPont Cyrel Fast 1000 TD processor, a thermal, solvent-free flexographic plate processor, is the latest addition to the company's product line and is designed to offer productivity, lower environmental footprint and outstanding quality to the tag and label and mid-web flexible packaging markets. Benefits include a compact footprint, high productivity, and improved user interface for reliable operation.

The DuPont Cyrel Lightning series are plates of choice for LED exposures to achieve high-quality printing across a broad range of packaging segments. Cyrel LSE is the engineered surface photopolymer formulation for the solvent workflow. It allows high exposure productivity, improves plate quality, and achieves superior print quality.

DuPont Cyrel Easy Fast EFM plate is the medium durometer, built-in flat-top dot, thermally processed plate designed for paper substrate printing with excellent ink transfer capability on coated, uncoated, rough, and recycled paper while maintaining good printing capability on films. 

Cyrel University is a new on-demand digital training platform. Hosted by DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions, with curated training for plate-room personnel, press operators and mounters and provides a tailored learning plan and courses for the students.

Durst | Stand: G8

Newgen Printronics will showcase the Durst industrial UV inkjet digital press at Labelexpo 2024. This machine offers versatile applications, including labels, IMLs, shrink sleeves, lamitubes, and more. The Durst press provides support for businesses looking to expand their production capabilities and improve efficiency. Newgen partnered with Durst in 2016.

Thomas Macina, sales director at the Durst Group for labels and flexible packaging remarked, “We are excited to partner with Newgen Printronics to bring our latest label printing innovations to Labelexpo. DYM Machinery (FIG) | Stand: C13

Chinese company DYM Machinery, which manufactures an array of non-stop roll-changing solutions for label and narrow/middle-web presses, is aiming to rope in top label printers in India, in close collaboration with its distribution partner Flexo Image Graphics (FIG).

FIG will showcase DYM’s non-stop roll-changing systems and more from other brands at Labelexpo India 2024. 

Jesin Wang, global sales director, DYM Machinery said DYM Machinery’s long-term vision and strategy is to make the company’s non-stop roll-changing systems a standard configuration in any roll-to-roll printing. 

According to Wang, DYM Machinery’s partner FIG in India can focus on seizing the top ten label printers in the local market first with the best service and training.
