Latex 3100 debuts at Global 5’s Media Expo stand

Mumbai-based Global 5 Technologiess, which represents HP and Esko in Western India, demonstrated the HP Latex 3100 for the first time in India at the Media Expo exhibition in Mumbai.

According to Global5’s director, Prashant Khomne, the Latex 3100 can produce 180sqm/hr in two-pass billboard mode down to 27sqm/hr in 18-pass backlit mode and can handle rolls up to 160kg. It deploys HP thermal inkjet technology, seven printheads providing over 70,000 nozzles with 12 picoliter drops, nozzle.

The 3100, which was launched recently, replaces the 3000, which was launched two years ago.

Besides the 3100, the company will also have other machines from HP’s third generation Latex portfolio including L360, L330 and L310.

The other highlight of the Global5 stand is an application gallery, which the company will set up in association with HP.

Team Global 5 along with its applications specialists and service experts will discuss and demonstrate latex applications and profitable business models.

“Global 5 has achieved 200+ HP Latex installations in the western region. The company has its demo centre in Mumbai and Pune, where it experiments with different media and applications for Latex,” said Khomne.
