During the three-hour session, Prashant Atre, managing director, Toyo Ink Arets, will discuss in detail about the latest technologies of UV curable inks and the do's and don'ts related to UV inks.

The objective of selecting this topic, according to Atre, will help connect the student and printers with the latest in technology at the global level. "UV is not a printing process. It is the curing/drying technique, which can be applied to any printing process, be it offset, flexo, screen, gravure, or digital,” said Atre.

The session, which will be delivered in Hindi, will also talk about the radiation curing technology which is not only gaining popularity in the printing industry, but also making inroads in various other industries.

SaS is an initiative by the BMPA, PrintWeek India, Government Institute of Printing Technology, Mumbai and SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai.
