Many products will be launched at Labelexpo India bringing the latest technology to Indian shores for the first time.

Top players like Epson, Gallus, Henyue Machinery, Hilda Automation, Jandu Engineering, Kodak, Mark Andy, Mimaki, Muller Martini, Multitec, Nilpeter, Nuova Gidue, Omet, Orthotec, Patel Enterprises, Sakazaki, Shenzhen Labellong, Webtech, Xeikon, Zhejiang Weigang, Zhongtian Machinery are some of the manufacturers who will have interactive live demonstrations of some of their latest machineries.

While some companies like Edale will showcase videos at their stall.

The third edition of the Labelexpo 2012 will be hosted at an opportune time. India’s label industry has continued to grow at around 15%, while globally it’s 7%. Roger Pellow, managing director of Tarsus (organiser of Labelexpo) says that the business has become more commercialised with international brands entering the Indian retail market and driving opportunities for label converters. “While the change in the retail sector is shaping growth, it remains to be seen how much impact these international retailers will have if they can sell directly and if this will be adopted regionally or nationwide.”
