LMAI panel discussion on 5 August
The Label Manufacturers Association of India (LMAI) has organised a panel discussion with label buyers and label creators on 5 August.

The event, Labels: What the print buyers want, will be held at Pride Plaza, New Delhi from 7 pm.
Harveer Sahni, chairman, Weldon Celloplast, and director LMAI and moderator for the event, said, “The event is an LMAI endeavour to bring together brand owners or print buyers, material suppliers and label manufacturers on a common platform to dwell on the evolving needs of print buyers.”
He added that Avery Dennison is expected to give important inputs on materials as regards innovation, future, sustainable and environmentally-friendly materials.
“The print buyers will discuss their requirements of labels that help them reach out to a wider audience, needs for incorporating statutory information, embellishments and security features. The label converters will provide important inputs on improved capabìlities, new printing technologies and embellishing options,” he added.
Rajiv Dhar former director, Indian Institute of Packaging will deliver the keynote address about the way packaging is evolving with special focus on labels. He will also touch upon government initiatives and sustainability needs.
“We, at LMAI, strive to bring together the label fraternity and empower them with knowledge on the newer technologies besides providing networking opportunities,” Sahni said.
Other speakers at the event include Sanjeev Sharma: director, product management, Avery Dennison; Sanjay Ghoshal, senior GM and head of packaging, Diageo India; Naveen Stuart, cluster packaging manager, Reckitt; Soumayanath Mishra: head packaging development, Mankind Research Centre; Nirav Shah, founder, Letragraphix; and Anil Namugade: founder & director, Trigon Digipack.
The event is open and free for printer members of LMAI.
