Ludhiana printers who won big at NAEP honoured
For the first time this year, Ludhiana printers bagged 10 awards, including four gold, three silver and three certificates of merit at the National Awards for the Excellence in Printing (NAEP) organised by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP).

The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) recently organised a felicitation ceremony to honour the printers of Ludhiana for their success.
The NAEP trophies were presented in a glittering ceremony held at JW Marriott, Mumbai during Pamex 2023. This coveted recognition for the Indian Print fraternity is supported by the government of India.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Kamal Mohan Chopra, president, World Print and Communication Forum (WPCF), said, “India represents one of the largest commercial printing markets in the Asia Pacific region.”
Congratulating the award-winning printers, he said, “Over decades, Ludhiana’s printing industry has stood the test of time and evolved to become ultra-modern and digitally enabled.”
Thanking the government of punjab, Chopra added, “With the inclusion of paper-based packaging units, in thrust sector by the government of Punjab, I am sure, that now Ludhiana will become hub for the printing and packaging in northern region of the country.”
The winners from Ludhiana were Art World Printers; Big Byte and Jain Packwell, each with gold; New Sharma Screen Maker, with one gold and one certificate of merit; Active Print & Transfers, with two silvers; Shiva Print Bazzar, with one silver and Swastik Packo Printer and Yuvraaj Enterprises, each with one certificate of merit.
Gagandeep Singh vice-president OPA, presented memento and siropa on the behalf of OPA to the printers.
