MacDermid appoints Kanan Graphics as distributor for Western India

The deal was inked and the announcement was made on Day Two of Pamex. Kanan Graphics will work alongside Macdermid’s technical service team to supply and distribute Macdermid’s flexo plate range. 

According to Rahul Dwivedi, sales head for India and Sri Lanka at MacDermid Graphic Solutions, the idea is to leverage Kanan Graphics’ strong presence in the flexo printing space, especially in the Western states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Dwivedi said, “Kanan Graphics has a fantastic customer base and an excellent reputation in our industry. We feel that it is ideally placed to take the MacDermid product range to a wider market.”

Chetan Shah, managing director, Kanan Graphics, said, “We feel that this addition to our flexo portfolio will allow us to offer an improved and wider range of service to our customers.”

At Pamex, Kanan is showcasing MacDermid's LUX In-the-Plate (ITP) technology that enables flat-top dots while using standard platemaking techniques.  

Besides Kanan, MacDermid has two other distributors namely, Indo Pacific for South region and Supreme Marketing for North region.
