Macromedia bags the Printweek India Wide-Format Printer of the Year Award
Macromedia Digital Imaging, who won the Printweek India 2013 awards for Wide-format Printer of the Year visited the PrintWeek India’s office to collect the award.

Due to prior commitments, the representatives from the wide-format printing firm were not able to attend the awards night hosted at the Grand Hyatt on 2 October, 2013.
George T J, chief operating officer for West at Macromedia Digital Imaging, collected the award from Suresh Ramakrishnan, publisher, Haymarket Media India, on behalf of the company. The award was sponsored by Roland DG.
George said, “We had always hoped to receive the PrintWeek India award. This award means a lot not only to the company but also to the people on the shopfloor. These awards gives us a drive to do better.”
Macromedia had sent the entries it produced for ITC food division and HUL and promotional standees. Macromedia produced a print output of 31.13 sq/ft for ITC foods division and 33.45 sq/ft for HUL billboard and about 120nos of 3D cut-out standees of approximately 10x10ft in size. These were printed on a range of wide-format machines from HP (including Vutek) and Esko Konsberg for cutting purposes. The company used media from 3M, Avery, Star and Hanwa.
Macromedia has previously won the Printweek India Point-of-Purchase Printer of the Year 2010.
Macromedia has eight units panned across India namely in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Kochi and Vishakapatnam. With an employee strength of 450, it caters to digital, signage and wide format prints on a large scale.
