Malhar Communications, a sister-concern of Jalgaon-based CMYK Press which won the first PrintWeek India Small Company of the Year in 2009 specialises from the conventional mediums of outdoor advertising to mobile, web and innovative medium advertising. And to add to the list, Malhar has two printing presses.

Anand Malhara, chief executive officer, Malhar Communications who bags this honour for the corporate practices, said, "Apart from corporate excellence, the other reasons for the honour will be disclosed at the award ceremony."

According to Malhara, the corporate excellence honour can be because of the practices maintained by Malhar at their facilities.

“We have been in the business for 30 years and we have ensured that an eco-friendly system is maintained amidst our facilities at Dhule and Pune.” Among some of the practices are green fields across their Jalgaon unit.

"Also being in an industrial belt like Jalgaon, a tier-3 city, students from advertising colleges prefer our company for training which we are proud of,"  Malhara added.

The corporate excellence award recognises and honours companies as well as individuals who through their corporate practices, have helped to raise India’s corporate disclosure standards and corporate governance. The awards seek to identify and celebrate those companies and individuals who have had a positive impact on our environment and society as well as their business.

The award ceremony will take place on 13 November, 2014.
