Mangalore-based Prakash Offset commissions India's first Heidelberg Anicolor press

Mangalore based Prakash Offset has recently commissioned a Heidelberg SM52 Anicolor press.“The press is currently being installed and is expected to be in operation in 20 days,” said P R Nayak, partner, Prakash Offset.

The company has seven Heidelberg presses already installed in the shopfloor.With the installation of the Anicolour press it will be the eighth Heidelberg press for the company.

Filled with confidence of Heidelberg manufacturing and service, the company once again has opted for Heidelberg Technology. This time they have installed Heidelberg SM52 Anicolor to cater to booming digital market.

“The growing demand for short-run commercial jobs prompted us to opt for the SM52 Anicolor press,” said Nayak. Since the other Heidelberg machines are being used mainly for book printing, this four colour , 15 x 20 inch press will assist us with a fast make-ready and provide us with a less turnaround times, claims Nayak.
