Manipal, IPP, Gopsons, Replika, Repro India, Lovely to be present at Book Conference
India's first National Book Printers conference (NBPC) will be hosted between 17 to 19 November at Thiruvanthapuram in Kerala.

Top book printer-exporters from India will participate in a panel discussion on day one. Manipal Technologies, Lovely Offset, IPP, Gopsons, Replika Press, Repro India, Thomsons Press and MultiVista Global have confirmed their presence at NBPC 2011 along with other book printers, book publishers and government delegates.
The three-day event is being supported by Welbound and Henkel CAC India. It will consist of knowledge seminars and panel discussions which have been conceptualised by PrintWeek India. Professor Werner Rebsamen will be the keynote speaker on day one of the event.
"Key post-press suppliers will be providing innovative technological solutions during the conference with an objective to make India the largest book print exporter by 2017," said P Sajith, Welbound Worldwide.
Some of the focused group presentations will include Akshay Pathak, director GBO (Frankfurt Book Fair) speaking on markets to tap for exports and how to participate effectively in trade fairs; Capexil on support for book print exports and information on marketing; Michael Euler, managing director Wohlenberg on –how to manufacture adhesive bound books, cost-efficiently; Thomas Auris, Henkel Asia on – emerging trends in the world book production; Anil Krishna, Henkel India on – how to reduce your cost of production; Peter Geyger - PUR technology; Arvind Kalassur (WTS) on – reliability centred maintenance (RCM) on – a perspective from bookbinding; and John Finn, managing director Deluxe Stitching, UK on – basics of saddle stitching and SvenSchubert of Baumann of Wohlenberg group on paper handling systems - how to increase efficiency, reduce costs and have happy employees.
