Manugraph confirms sale to newspaper in Japan
Indian newspaper major, Manugraph India along with its business partner in Japan, Seiken Graphics jointly sold the first single-width press in Japan to the Kii Minpou Company, a prominent player in the Japanese newspaper printing industry.

The press which will be installed is a single width, 4-page newspaper offset press with a speed of 36,000 cph, having two towers, two mono units and a spray dampening system with colour registration and a cut-off control system.
Pradeep Shah, the managing director, Manugraph said, "We are happy to have extended our global footprint to Japan. We will continue to focus on transforming technology into innovative solutions, which offer great value and an ever-widening range of applications to the Japanese market."
The sale of the first single width press in Japan, by Manugraph, who are the world leaders in the single width sector and Seiken, the number one manufacturer in Japan, is "a new beginning", in providing solutions to the newspaper printing industry in Japan. A Manugraph press release said, "Both companies are extremely hopeful of increasing their sales, by promoting such presses as a compelling value proposition and leveraging on their mutual business experience, to lead the next phase of growth in the single-width sector in Japan."
Manugraph is the largest producer of 2x1 presses in the world with installations across Asia, Middle East, Africa, North and South America, Europe and Australia.
