On the condition of anonymity, one of the major suppliers of packaging finishing equipment told PrintWeek India that more than 100 finishing machines (consisting only of die-cutting, folding and gluing machines) are installed last year in India, and manufacturers of such machines are now expecting a good increment in the number.
With an eagle-eye on this market, Manugraph will try to entice the visitors at Printpack India to its product line by presenting a live demo of MK 1060MF automatic platen die-cutting machine with stripping and MK 420 fully-automatic sheet inspection machine. The demo will be held in Hangar 1 Stall H14/05.
Masterwork Machinery manufactures high precision and high speed automatic die-cutting, automatic platen foil stamping with hologram system and folding and gluing machines. The products of Masterwork carry several technical patents including the die-cutting system that has a German patent certificate. Its newly developed hologram control system using seven axis is first in the world.
More recent developments from the company are: folder gluers with up to 1700mm width, automatic packing machine, automatic sheet inspect machine, and a new double platen hot foil stamping and die-cutting press capable of producing accurately foiled and die-cut cartons in one pass at speeds of up to 5,000 sheets per hour.
