At Labelexpo India 2024, held in November, Maxcess India showcased its newly launched 100% defect detection system, which, the company said, received an extremely encouraging response. The company also displayed its made-in-India web guide, the Fife500 Max.
Niraj Muni, general manager, Maxcess India, said, “This locally assembled product is designed to meet market price expectations while maintaining industry-leading features and accuracy. Additionally, we demonstrated our repair capabilities, which generated positive feedback from our printer converter customers. As a result, we are now flooded with repair orders following the expo.”
RotoAdjust was a standout feature on its stand, offering easy control of liner variation. As skilled labour enters the market and liner variability increases, press operators need a simple yet precise solution, Muni said, adding, “The new RotoAdjust includes advanced Industry 4.0 automation, plug-and-play functionality, and IoT software for monitoring die station performance and alerting operators about maintenance needs.”
Muni said technology evolves. “At Maxcess, we are actively investing in Industry 4.0 solutions. This is visible in the products on display, such as the RotoAdjust and VisionMax systems.”
On the subject of industry trends at Labelepxo India 2024, Muni said, “Saving money is equivalent to earning money. This has never been truer than in today's competitive environment. Converters are striving to reduce scrap and increase production speeds to maximise the output of their equipment. Additionally, sustainability as a corporate responsibility is becoming increasingly important in our industry. We are pleased to support our customers with advanced products that address both of these needs.”
Towards this, he said, both suppliers and converters will continue to advance in their efforts to deliver products and equipment that reduce waste and increase output.
