After two national airlines - Air India (Shubh Yatra) and Spice Jet (Spiceroute) and an international airline - Fly Africa, this is the fourth airline Maxposure will cater to, starting September 2013. Biman Bangladesh Airlines' magazine will be a bi-monthly, bilingual magazine, which will adorn the carrier that flies to 18 destinations, including 14 international cities.
Speaking on the occasion Prakash Johari, managing director and CEO, MaXposure, said, “Bangladesh, with a population of 163 million enjoys a GDP growth of 6.1% and this makes it an ideal time for us to enter this growing market. Bangladesh is a strategic market for us and we intend to play a key role in its publishing industry. Winning the bid is in line with Maxposure’s internationalisation strategy."
Maxposure outsources its printing operations to Thomson Press in Delhi and Rajhans Printers in Bengaluru.
Inflight magazine publishing is trending among the custom publishers subject to the increased number of routes that the airlines have added to their offering. Additionally, this enables the publishers to mark their presence across nations.
