Mayur Process invests in an Amsky Ausetter

Ludhiana-based pre-press house Mayur Process has invested in an Amsky Ausetter 800U CTCP equipment. The kit has been supplied by Watthour Systems.

The 800 series from Amsky is capable of producing 16, 22, 29 plates an hour with 2,400 dpi resolution depending upon the thickness of the plates, ranging from 0.15 mm to 0.3 mm.

Rakesh Kumar, owner of Mayur Process, said, “The price of films is on the rise and it made sense to bring in digital. It improved our plate production capability and quality.”

He futher added, “The print industry is operating in a price sensitive market and CTCP is one of the better options as compared to other CTP technologies.”

Mayur fires 150 plates of various sizes with the number of 21x26inch sized plates being particularly higher. “We will up our production once we are up to speed with the machine,” said Kumar.

Mayur Process, a family business owned is managed by Kumar with the support of his son, Manmohan. Mayur’s clients are those from the packaging and publishing segments.
