The club will get a lowdown on the essentials and advancements of digital photo printing in a Q&A session with Phiroze Havaldar; director at Mazda, followed by a demonstration of the Indigo workhorses housed at the unit, and finally, a sample showcase of the Indigo prints.

The Print Yatra has been conceptualised to bring the creators; the production professionals and the executors; the printers, on a common. It is a platform to share technical and creative knowhow.

Hemant Randive of WTPP said, “Print has evolved and the technology has changed. It is essential for the production professionals to be acquainted with these changes to be able to deliver a solution that amalgamates design and print.”

Mazda has over three decades of experience in the photo printing business. With its commitment to the HP Indigo technology Mazda has taken leaps in the photo printing segment with India’s first HP Indigo 3050 in 2006 and India’s first HP Indigo 10000 in 2014 to its credit.

Mazda caters to the amateur, wedding, commercial and advertising segments for its photo business.

The WTPP group has been arranging visits to the print firms across various segments; the most recent visit was to Spectrum Scan’s Bazaar in Vasai.
