Mark Andy 2200 and Mark Andy Evolution Series E5 are the two flexo presses which have changed the game of MBR Flexibles’ label printing. Sharing the reason why the company specifically opted for the Mark Andy presses, Sahil Chopra, director of MBR Flexibles, said, “Over the years, or say decades, we have carved out a reputation for ourselves in the industry as a provider of quality products printed and produced using best-in-class machines and equipment. In this, the Mark Andy machines meet our standards.”

Established in the 1960s, MBR Group has been in the business of dye-chemicals, textile auxiliaries, and bulk intermediates. The extension of MBR Flexibles as the group’s imperative division took place in 2010 for exclusive engagement in flexible packaging manufacturing and high-end label printing in two production units. “The two Mark Andy presses in our facility are ideal for handling all kinds of high-end labels of all standards which we produce for our highly quality-conscious clients from different sectors,” Chopra said.

He added, “In fact, our back-to-back installations of the Mark Andy 2200 and Mark Andy Evolution Series E5 have dawned a new phase for us to cater newer range of products such as shrink sleeves, in-mould labels (IML) and more. Moreover, these two highly advanced flexographic presses significantly boost flexibility in our overall production of premium quality labels and flexible packaging solutions.”

Prior to the two Mark Andy presses, MBR Flexibles had invested in many other machines from FIG, including a Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter-rewinder. “We just have booked yet another Rhyguan Smart 450 HMS inspection rewinder from FIG. It’s been great to be partnered with them for years with all these highly efficient and productive machines,” said Chopra, adding, “After all, the team FIG’s unconditional post-sales support is truly commendable.”

FIG has a customer support department’ operating through its main office in Delhi and branches in Mumbai and Chennai. In addition to Mark Andy and Rhyguan, the company is India's representative of other big international brands like Rotoflex, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, DYM Machinery, etc. The company’s customer bases of Mark Andy and Rhyguan machines keep expanding with constant adoptions by prominent label and packaging players like MBR Flexibles.

With a team of 200 staff, MBR Flexibles is managed by a league of young and enthusiastic directors, namely, Sahil Chopra and Yash Chopra, directors of MBR Flexibles, who spearhead the division’s label printing unit, and Siddharth Chopra, Sagar Chopra, and Mohit Chopra, directors of MBR Flexibles, who take care of the flexible packaging manufacturing unit. The company currently caters highly cost-effective, durable, sustainable, and invincible range of labels as well as flexible packaging solutions to clients who are predominantly in the food and beverage sectors.
