MBR Group was established in the 1960s when the company’s mainstay of business revolved around dye-chemicals, textile auxiliaries, and bulk intermediates. As an imperative division of the group, MBR Flexibles was unveiled in 2010, extensively engaging in flexible packaging manufacturing in one unit while another unit nowadays is exclusively engaged in label printing. The division’s production facility is standardising with the installations of the two Mark Andy presses—Mark Andy 2200 and Mark Andy Evolution Series E5.
Sahil and Yash Chopra, directors of MBR Flexibles, spearhead the division’s label printing unit. Siddharth, Sagar, and Mohit Chopra, directors of MBR Flexibles, take care of the division’s flexible packaging manufacturing unit. The division caters cost-effective, durable, sustainable, and invincible range of labels as well as flexible packaging solutions to clients present predominantly in the food and beverage sectors.
Currently, MBR Flexibles produces 900 to 1000 tonnes of flexible packaging solutions every month. One of the factors behind the company’s overall competency is its strong machine portfolio, which is making it stronger by adding the Mark Andy 2200 and Mark Andy Evolution Series E5.
“These two flexographic presses from FIG are best-in-class machines in terms of their significant capacities, performances, values, and outputs,” said Sahil Chopra.
He added, “Designed and engineered with upgraded technologies for efficiently handling maximum print width up to 17-inch, these two Mark Andy presses are capable of handling all jobs, right from self-adhesive labels to shrink sleeve and in-mould (IML) labels and more.”
He further emphasises that their back-to-back installations of the two high-end presses will allow them to significantly increase volume and flexibility in label and flexible packaging printing and production.
MBR Flexibles has been partnered with FIG for years. “Earlier, we had invested in several machines from FIG, which included a Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter-rewinder and others,” Chopra said, adding, “We continue our investments in new machines from FIG, such as the two Mark Andy presses, because we are happy to be partnered with them for the quality of products they supply and unprecedented after-sales support they provide.”
