Established in 2007, Kumar Labels is one of the leading labels printing companies in India. The Greater Noida-headquartered first-generation labels printing company specialises in liquor labels.

When did you start to use NBG Starflex?
We have been using Starflex since June 2023.

What are the properties of NBG Starflex that you like? 
We liked its wide-web, rugged-built and prompt reliable service.

Why did you decide to use the NBG Starflex?
We wanted a machine that could be customised and could do high-quality half-tones. We got both these features in the press.

Did you look at other similar products? 
We are aware of other options from India, China and the West. However, the Starflex suited our current purpose the best.

What are the features that tilted the favour in this?
Excellent half-tones and a sturdy build for long-run jobs.

How much have these features helped you?
We have been running the press around the clock with great consistency.

For what applications is the NBG Starflex used?
We have been using the press for pressure-sensitive and wet-glue labels.

Is there anything that you do not like or can be improved about this? 
So far so good.

If there’s a critical label/packaging job that has come your way, would you rely on this to see it through?
Absolutely. We will rely on the press.

What’s the quality like?
We can print warm images even at 200-lpi.

How easy is it to use and handle? 
We have a team of freshers running the press.

Would you say that it offers value for money?  
It is a good press at a good price.

Were there any difficulties experienced during the use of NBG Starflex?
None so far.

Who do you think the NBG Starflex is right for? 
The press works on solid Maserati gearboxes that are not just precise but also long-lasting, especially for long-run jobs that require consistent output.

Under what circumstances would you recommend it to others? 
Each label print company’s requirement is different. Any label print CEO in India should compare the press features against their requirements.n
